LOCATION:

Rosturk Woods is situated on the unspoiled west coast of Ireland, between the historic, attractive town of Westport (24 km) and the renowned landscapes of Achill Island (17 km). We are also 60 km to the north of the beautiful wilderness of Connemara and 60 km south of the recently discovered, spectacularly located, 5000 year old settlement at the Céide Fields in North Mayo.

We are offering two comfortable and spacious self catering houses suitable for families, couples, friends or a combination of these. We have finished all our accommodation to the highest standard ensuring comfort combined with a relaxed and welcoming atmostphere. We encourage guests to treat the place like home.

Bothhouses enjoy seperate locations on the clean, sandy tidal seashore of Clew Bay and its islands, in private secluded woodland. There is private access to the seashore provided by paths which lead you directly from the house, through the woodland to the water’s edge. When the tide is out there is the option of walking out amongst the islands on the hard sandy foreshore.This can either be a short walk out and around the nearest island or a longer exploration as far as the nearby village of Mulranny.
